Eligibility

In general, details of any eligibility for the FUSION project are available on the application portal www.fusion-edu-apply.org or on the main homepage www.fusion-edu.eu of the project. Fusion offers mobilities from Asia to Europe and vice versa.
 

From Asia to Bremen (Europe)

Eligible for a mobility from Asia to LogDynamics at the University of Bremen are students and researchers who are interested in research according to the field "Dynamics in Logistics". LogDynamics integrates offers from 4 faculties of the University of Bremen: Business Studies/Economics, Production Engineering, Mathematics/Computer Science, and Physics/ Electrical Engineering. Due to the fact that the University of Bremen only offers a few study programs in English, LogDynamics offers any applicant an individual research project, in English, and to work under individual supervision. Fellows will be integrated into the research training group of the IGS. One or two doctoral candidates of the IGS or of LogDynamics are going to be supervisors (under the guidance of her/his PhD supervisor) for any Bachelor or Master student. PhDs and PostDocs are seen as independent researchers.

Third-country students
To be eligible, third-country undergraduate and master students as well as doctoral and post-doctoral candidates (hereafter referred as "third-country students"):
 
1. Must be a national of one of the third-countries covered by the relevant lot of FUSION;
 
2. Must have not resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the eligible European countries at the time of submitting their application to the partnership. This rule does not apply to TGIII candidates;
 
3. For Target Group 1 (TGI): students need to be registered at one of the third-country HEIs within the partnership at the time of submitting their application to the partnership. Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies in their home institution;
 
4. For Target Group 2 (TGII): students need either to be registered in a HEI (not included in the partnership) of the third-country concerned by the lot of FUSION or to have obtained a university degree or equivalent from a HEI of these third-countries (there are no scholarships for UG students of TG2);
 
5. For Target Group 3 (TGIII): students need to be nationals of one of the third-countries concerned by the lot of FUSION and be part of the vulnerable target groups;
 
6. Must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting countries (German or English at LogDynamics).
 

Academic and administrative staff
In order to be eligible for a FUSION mobility, academic and administrative staff (hereafter referred as "staff"):
 
1. Must be a national of one of the eligible countries (Asian as well as European countries, depending on the point of departure);
 
2. For Target Group 1 (TGI): Third- country staff must work in or be associated to one of the third-country HEIs participating in the partnership. EU staff must work in or be associated to one of the EU HEIs participating in the partnership;
 
3. For Target Group 2 (TGII): Third-country staff must work in or be associated to a HEI (not included in the partnership) of any third-country concerned by the lot of FUSION. EU staff must work in or be associated to a HEI (not included in the partnership) of any European country.
 

From Europe (Bremen) to Asia

 
Students and researchers from Bremen (German nationals) are eligible for mobilities from Europe to one of the Asian partner universities under similar rules. In most cases only mobilities for members of TGI will be offered.
